I thought "The American Revolution" by Ken Burns was a shocking eye opener, but watching "The Viet Nam War" by turning point on Netflix is also shocking.

The Turning point also has other documentaries that are a must see, as are Ken Burns series on (Roosevelts" and "The Civil War".
