Every now and then, a patient will say something to me that is so abhorrent that I just have to bite my lip (hard), hold my tongue, and keep my professionalism.

I went to school with Phil Mickelson. Catholic High School. Diocese right across the street. Bishop used to celebrate mass with our school.

I'm pretty certain what I'm seeing in our community (in Arizona) as far as illnesses has to be adenovirus. I've only had one positive influenza, and every other case has been negative for flu and Covid. Symptoms are severe sore throat, cough, congestion, body aches, and fever. Rx is supportive care.
