They have 100% always been this way, though notably the transition from helicopter rides and referencing crushing minorities abroad humorlessly transitioned to nazi shit, but like that's basically a new layer of paint instead of a new perspective.

For those tempted to say Young Republicans have always been this way, they really have not. When I worked on campus and did bipartisan college events after, they were very much not like this.
That's why groups like YCT and eventually TPUSA formed -because Young Republicans weren't radical enough.

Oh yeah that's what I mean: the changes made often make the suits feel farther off from Kamen Rider than they should, more of a Symphogear or dare I say VTuber vibe with the exposed faces and simplified armour

Yeah that's fair: though Iunno why they wouldn't take a Kamen Rider Decade approach perhaps, with new heroes taking on different Rider suits from the past in something of a meta narrative

Honestly sucks seeing Tekken 8 be the only living entry in the genre, since as much as I love the series T8 is definitely the least structured and most random title in the series. Especially when that whole eccentric vibe usually went to Soul Calibur
