I personally agree, just making a note on how it’s perceived.

If a $60 game that has DLC and Microtransactions gets a $20 cost bump as a studio lays off workers, I don’t blame anyone for rolling their eyes at that.

People are just sour on AAA for lot of reasons, some valid some less so.

Tbh surprised games were $60 for as long as they were.

I think people are sour on AAA in part due to the other forms of monetization (dlc, microtransactions, etc.) being rampant, in addition to underdelivering in some cases.
