Warsaw Spire - watercolor on 50 x 70cm paper, based on self-made photo.

Incidentally, the lobby of this skyscraper hosted a watercolor exhibition where several of my artworks were also displayed. Photo itself was taken on the eve of said exhibition, as I was returning from vernissage.

Oooh, that's close by! Thanks, I have to check that out! I also saw that one chest with the three crystal creatures guarding it, but those are just such a pain to take on, I'm not sure if whatever is in that chest is worth it. XD Probably not.

You had to find them though and go in blind. :) I can kinda rely on friends indirectly telling me when to watch out for something horrifying when they start to giggle maniacally while I explore.

So, right at that gate, you get a mount, you get levelups, and you get the encouragement to go and explore the other directions. Go, check out Limgrave, find Castle Morne, figure out how to get out of Caelid. Or INTO Caelid! Whatever you prefer.

This is amazing gamedesign. :D

I'm just so impressed how the brick wall of Elden Ring is used to teach you how to play the game. The Tree Sentinel? You learn you can walk around enemies. And right after the third bonfire, where you get the ability to level, you stand in front of a gate, that tells you: maybe don't bruteforce it.

Fair warning, the palicos are amazing, but no monster killed me as many time as my own Seikret. They are birdbrained on a level that is player-mobbing. XD I miss my Rise-doggo so hard.
