Over and over again, I've had emails and messages from parents asking me about the new curriculum. I tried to get my head around it, but just had more questions than answers. So I teamed up with my fr...

I suspect the fact this has been transferred to the Ministry of Environment will be taken by Nigel as "proof" that the EPA knows about weather control in AoNZ and the MOE is suppressing it.

Paywall lifted: At every turn, the Govt has opted for whatever would actually lead to more pollution and a warmer world – even if it costs more, jeopardises NZ’s reputation, overturns a campaign promise or clashes with the Govt’s other priorities.

Not what you want to see on you home camera when you are 25 min away from home and your young adult son is home alone. Couple of young guys, forced a window, ransacked the place, took cash, jewellery (including precious inherited pieces) and tools from the garage.

The media literacy game www.emilywrites.co.nz/the-media-li...

Emily Writes spot on as always. Once you starting seeing the wanton use of passive voice, you can't unsee it.
The media literacy game
There's a game that my children do not like, but I insist we play it. We have talked before about manufacturing consent for genocide in our media - this post is an extension of that. So, let's play....

My local MP seems to believe that the solution to environmental degradation is simply to threaten local democracy. To say there is any sort of "Blue Green" movement is farcical. I will actively campaign against her if she stands next year.

ACT MP asks Parliament to limit use of ‘genocide’ when describing Gaza war
Despite being in a party committed to freedom of speech, Simon Court asked Parliament’s Speaker to consider restricting the use of the word ‘genocide’ to describe what’s happening in Gaza.

Can’t think who I heard say ‘Fascism is imperialism & colonialism turned inward’. We in Aotearoa need to get ahead of this. What starts there eventually makes its way here, & we know Seymour would salivate at the thought of turning Aotearoa full MAGA. Our next election is crucial. #nzpol #Kikorangi
