Don’t forget to attend your local #NoKings protest, treat it like you would a hike, come prepared and plan ahead. Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be walking or standing for long periods. Check the weather before you go and dress accordingly, bringing layers, rain gear, or sunscreen as needed.

Take Portland’s cue: Wear your inflatable costume if you have one. Frogs, squirrels, unicorns, chickens, hippos, zebras or horses. It can help protect you against rubber pellets or pepper gas (remember to wear goggles and a mask/respirator underneath). #NoKings #Oct182025
