Until Schumer is gone, and takes numerous other fossils in the senate with him, the senate Dems will remain ineffectual and borderline worthless. Term and age limits are vital, and the politicians will fight unto the death to see it never happens, and that is very much Both Parties.

Call your Reps & Senators and tell them to vote NO on the SAVE Act, which would disenfranchise 10s of millions of Americans.

The Capitol switchboard is (202) 224-3121. (Tip: put it in your Contacts.)
Rs are “worried about private polling that paints a dire picture of the midterms—& it's not just the House they're afraid of losing, it's also the Senate.” (Rs are thus DESPERATE to (a) pass their voter suppression bill & (b) create a pretext to “federalize” the election by ginning up BS re 2020) 1/
GOP's new fear: Losing the Senate in November
A Democratic takeover of the Senate would be a political earthquake — and neuter Trump's last two years in office.

AOC: We are going to have to reckon, as a country, with this time. And I hope that that reckoning includes prosecution of people who are involved with the lawbreaking and human rights violations they are knowingly engaging in right now.

The president constantly lying about stolen elections, after staging a coup attempt, & now threatening to federalize & steal future elections, should be the primary news story in the country 24/7 & on every front page until he is impeached & removed next week.

This is a remarkable @nytimes.com split screen:

A huge 3,526 word + photos profile on Sen Britt who "can't stop thinking about the boy ICE detained"

But Rep Jaoquin Castro- who actually got Liam Ramos out of detention & back home- gets no interview, no pix, just 116 words inside a story. WOW.

Call your Senators and say HELL NO
Why aren’t more people warning about the GOP’s SAVE Act, including its requirement that states launch new voter purge programs??? History shows that Rs “love* over-broad purges. Tellingly, SAVE proposes *no penalty* for faulty purges but potential *prison time* 4 a single faulty voter registration.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.

Medicare for All Disappeared. Its Popularity Didn’t.
The demand for Medicare for All went from the center of the discourse to political exile in record time. But the policy's popularity never faded. A new poll finds strong majority support for the neglected idea among Americans across the political spectrum.
