I don’t typically mask on the train unless I am sick and I don’t want to give it to other people. I always get sick after I’ve flown, though, so I have masked every time since 2020. I don’t know if it’s the dry air or tight quarters but I got sick seven Christmases in a row thanks to flying.

In college, I started getting pushed out of dorm rooms while watching the football game with a group of friends because every time I got up to use the bathroom, we scored. So that was fun and not at all alienating

As I recall, Health Canada has established HM limits, and both raw materials and finished goods have to meet them. HC website is dreadful on mobile so I don’t feel like wrestling it for the specific regulation

Plants will absorb HMs out of contaminated soil. Vegan proteins have higher lead because you use the plant. Milk proteins have to go through the cow first so there’s some buffer there. A lot of farmland now has some degree of contamination
