Stoked for this one, you’ve turned me into a real foat head
I have never listened to any of his other work aside from radio songs back in the day, but this one hits for me
I still have a 160gb iPod, only downside is I have to use a very old version of iTunes to update it. Still works perfectly though!

Reminder, buying old CDs from the 90s is Columbia House cheap if you're a patient and methodical Discogs shopper.

Rip'm to Plexamp and listen on every device just like Spotify. For what you spend in a year on a subscription, you can buy yourself a stack of classic albums that you own and control.

Friendly reminder that Tidal ($10.99) is now cheaper than Spotify ($11.99), delivers better audio quality, pays its artists 2x as much, and generally doesn't allow AI slop.

You can move your entire music library over in a matter of minutes.

Lots of tremendous recs so far, but I don’t think I’ve seen Augustus Pablo’s EAST OF THE RIVER NILE mentioned yet. It might be the very best

Spent an hour on and off with Spotify online support just trying to find out where to file feedback re: ICE ads. After asking what the feedback was, all four reps ended the chat immediately when I mentioned ICE. This has to be direction from above. Save your time and just cancel now.
just listened to this on a drive through rural illinois on a drive with my wife at dusk, perfection

oh it’s definitely not a contest, but it just shows how disconnected us nerds are from what’s popular, but also how what’s popular on streaming isn’t necessarily in the public consciousness like pop music used to be
