I’m involved with groups who have taken Judicial Reviews successfully over the years. The reason for success is always because due process has not been followed, or basic rules and laws are being ignored. Judicial Review is an essential tool in our democracy.

I have never, and will never, use Spotify. It is basically theft from artists.

There’s a reason good planning takes time. It’s about the checks and balances, and finding the solution that works best for most people.
This is going to get very messy & quickly. Remember the last time they tried this with housing, where they bypassed County Councils and applications went straight to An Bord Pleanála? Remember how they stopped doing that when it made everything worse?

If this ceasefire happens - and I hope it does - Western media will talk about 'peace'. This will be inaccurate. What they will mean is 'quiet', a reversion to the background level of violence that Palestinians have faced for decades. Peace can only come with the end of the occupation and apartheid.
