Hey so

- there is kinda a good argument for titans being the maker, live in the black city, sings, etc.

- titans seem to like to take on a sort of avatar to speak with their children, ala Valta and Harding

- sandal has been theorized to be one of these avatars

- sandal actually is the maker

As a writer also in a field with a very high exec/top brass presence in the creative process, I can guarantee you that in 99% of cases, if the writing feels like you're repetitively being spoon fed plot and exposition, it's a directive from on high and not what the writer would do if left alone.

Before I made any assumptions, I went and read the Pc Gamer piece that is "ragging" on Veilguard.

Summary: It's not. It speaks of a phenomenon in some games of chewing out information, which Veilguard DOES do, and correctly assigns the responsibility of it to the top brass.

We can't keep making videogame stories for players who aren't paying attention to them

Bonus points when they do this about a character that due to the game's narrative is killed by default as an enemy. Like gz buddy u killed the character 99% of players kill on 99% of runs. Yes. Gj. U are... very average...? O.o (eg. Minthara, marazhai, nyrissa, basically any recruitable villain)

today someone in one of my comment sections misspelled Amarnat (from Pasqal 's quest in WH40k: Rogue Trader) as amaranth which i then read as Amouranth (the streamer) and suddenly i felt this compulsion to create... art.

tried my best to give the outer worlds a chance but i think it just wasnt for me. first time i didnt vibe with an obsidian game which made me a tad sad... will probably still give the sequel a chance tho!
in the meantime, gonna play Tyranny for the first time on stream^^ so exciiiiiteeeed
