It seems to be a tough time to be an in demand actor. Saw the pushback Pedro Pascal’s been getting—folks saying they’re tired of seeing him in everything yet they were cheering for him this time last year and the year before.

I know that exists for the voice acting world as well. Fans can be weird

It’s a nice game and the end game stuff could’ve been expanded on, but for what it is, it’s not as bad as folks are saying.

Take a grain of salt, try it out for yourself, and you be the judge. This is just my opinion

Is it a life sim? Yeah, but on a VERY small scale. I think it suffers from wanting to do more, but not being able to because it can’t divert from the Tolkien branding or just the devs not being able to flesh out what they want and have the same experience across all consoles.

But then I realized unlike Song of Seasons, Harvest Moon, or even Stardew Valley, there’s no contests; you just build friendships, forced to join clubs, and that’s it.

You raise chickens and the farming/gardening gameloops aren’t different from each other & the explanations aren’t great.

What I WILL say is that the game NEEDS more identity; it wants (and hits) the cozy aspect of a sim-game, but I don’t think it knows what its identity is outside of being a Hobbit game based between the Hobbit & the Trilogy.

I wanted to get married in the game and have real ranching lifestyle

If you like inventory management, it has that too—all things together, you get a cozy game.

I played on the Switch 2 and experienced a couple of bugs, but it wasn’t game breaking. Like, my game crashed twice so far and I have 60+ hours clocked.

Like, I agree that for the length of time some Tolkien fans have been waiting, this feels like their version of Pokemon SV, but for what it’s worth, I think we need to ask is “what WERE we expecting to get?”

✅ Cooking, farming, fishing, etc.
✅ Fellowship building
✅ Character/home customization

Same goes for you as well; acknowledging something’s wrong and that you need to get better’s the first step to recovery.

Yeah it definitely takes time. Time’s a precious gift that CAN heal wounds (but also makes them fester). Giving yourself grace and space is just one of many steps to get better.

Shit ain’t easy and life won’t get any easier, but I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m here and while I’m tired, I’m carrying on.

Everything has its season and I truly hope that this one comes to a close soon. I’m hoping for better times for us all.
