At the risk of being accused of commiting AN OFFENCE under the UK's anti-terrorism act, I think this kind of violence against Palestinians is wrong @labouruk.bsky.social www.independent.co.uk/news/world/m... (and I don't think similar violence by Israeli fans should be 👍 by Sir Keir at Aston Villa)

For sure, there'll be knock at the door!
And that statue in New York Harbour… could be replaced with one of Trump holding a swag bag and a rifle?
Oh dear, now the UK police have ANOTHER case to investigate!

Yes, they want Gaza. Even though it's historically Egyptian land. They haven't even their bogus claim that it's "Israel'.

Yes, this rings true. "There are many examples of Trump’s delusions. He really does seem to believe that Portland is “war-ravaged,” that Chicago is full of “women in MAGA hats” begging him to stop crime, that China is going to cave on trade, that gas is $1.99, drug prices are down 500% and much more
So, Israel knew its bulldozer had exploded some of its own ordnance, and just wanted to destroy the peace settlment. So far, so normal. What IS new, is the US reining Netanyahu in. Long may it continue…
The Gaza war is a tactical victory - of course it is- for Israel, but a strategic failure. The am was to drive Palestinians out of Greater Israel which and increase its Jewish majority. However, despite killing 68,000 Palestinians, the balance has shifted the other way, with 145,900 Israelis leaving
To get the facts straight, go to @aljazeera.com "Over the last two years, Israel’s killing of more than 67,000 Palestinians and the scenes of the famine it has inflicted upon Gaza have led to revulsion across the world… increased coverage is likely to cement Israel’s pariah status for some time"
The six problems a Gaza ceasefire has brought Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu
Netanyahu has been accused of exploiting the Gaza war for his own gains, and an end to it could cause him problems.

"In 1976, burglars climbed up scaffolding on the side of the museum and smashed a window and glass casing to steal the diamond-studded sword of King Charles X. The case remains unsolved"
THIS time, thieves took advantage of building work again, again smashed windows, again smashed glass casing…
The same thing happened before. Incredible lack of security!
Thing that annoys (and worries) me about the coverage of this, is that MOST museums do not exhibit easily sold on treasures worth hundreds of millions. So, the need is NOT for museums generally to become fortresses, but for treasures to be kept in secure conditions. uk.news.yahoo.com/louvre-heist...
