Is it disappointing that a large number of Americans voted for the current administration?

Yes, but we need to be careful about blaming voters. Voters only get 2 options; there were a *lot* of prior decisions (and primaries!) made long before the election.

Elites hold *much* more responsibility.

Hopefully they will have this all fixed by the morning or maybe I’ll wake up to a world where the Internet is broken beyond repair and society has returned to Luddite agrarian ways and we are all traveling around in ox carts or on horses.
