That's the crux of it. We need to want to make adjustments. We need to unshackle ourselves from this whole 'it's supposed to be hard' cycle. We need to value and champion disabled PGRs and think creatively and inclusively about adjustments. It's not hard, I promise. But is is vital.

After following @masatojones.bsky.social since the Twitter days and being a fan of their work, I finally got to pop into their shop today. So many lovely indie items, and such a friendly person. I’ll be back 😁

Very pleased that Tesco vouchers can be used for the purchase of Denby pottery. This has enabled me to continuously replace the broken items I have thrown around the kitchen. Dyspraxia is king.Awaiting a new delivery today .

The Victorians had some weird taste in Christmas cards, putting that aside
Not ‘ A Happy Christmas’ in sight.
Plus get a load of this 1950s Christmas card.
What NO ‘Happy Christmas’ ?
In the 1980s no ‘Christmas’ on the selection box.
Nothing unusual.
No faux outrage then.

Economic crime costs the UK £350 billion a year HMRC investigations into serious tax fraud are at a six-year low, the extent of offshore tax dodging remains unknown, less than 5% of HMRC’s casework on wealthy non-compliant taxpayers . Want an economy to grow ? Tackle tax fraud

I did an O level in photography. We learnt about how photography’s could be manipulated for propaganda . Even in the American Civil War Staged scenes: Photographers would arrange bodies etc
Of course it was much more difficult to make & distribute.
Here is a modern example

Family member had a consultant cardiologist say ‘ his patients are the experts’ because when he was at medical school some of the conditions he sees now were not even taught about or known. Many ‘hidden disabilities’ are now recognised because of the advancements of science .

Someone on the other site has actually said ‘that disability is a lifestyle choice’

If you feel you’ve failed at life when you had been given opportunities to do well you are going to be angry at other people that you perceive as being helped.

Look to your own failings first.

This is were ableism is rooted in a lack of self awareness.

To stay on task, active activity I have to be listening to music or a pod cast or an audio book.

If it’s written task I need silence.

It has taken me a thousand years to find this out . 🤣
