Just read a report that the Trump Amin plans to force tourists to make public 5 years of social media history as a condition of entering USA. I’m guessing this will do some serious damage to the tourist industry particularly in World Cup year. First the Farmers. He screws everything he touches.

I listened to an account of the actions of so called “settlers” in the West Bank broadcast on BBC World Service last night. Burning property, burning olive groves, terrorising people living in the West Bank and beating one resident to death. Why don’t the media call these people Terrorists?

been reflecting on the famous JFK speech where he said “we choose to go to the Moon”. I wonder if today he might have said “we choose to save our planet”. It seems to me that uprated equivalent expenditure driving the moonshots and the science that went with it would make a hell of a difference.

In reflecting on the economic consequences of the BBB, I conclude that the combination of tariffs, debt, defunding infrastructure projects, inflation, currency instability, normalisation of lawlessness, tax on the middle classes and loss of medical support etc all points to economic meltdown.

I see the US Supreme court’s latest ruling on lower court powers renders the US federal legal system completely powerless to regulate the abuse of power by Trump and his bully boys. Best of luck with that America. On step closer to a monarchy and a second civil war if I’m any judge.

I just said this in response to scenes of a woman being arrested by a uniformed police office in the USA for a peaceful protest but here goes - “if you leave your conscience in the closet when you pull on your uniform, you have no right to wear the uniform in the first place. Use freely
