I'm Djeaux. I draw all sorts of stuff in a wide variety of art styles. You'll find a lot of Warhammer fanart and weird spec evo aliens and plants in my media tab. I've recently become interested in improving my art, so you may find some studies too.

some concepts I did for the lake dredger. I love gross sea monsters so this was one of the most fun creatures to design

#thingsthatdontsell part 2.
Doing this as a side gig means I can sculpt whatever daft crap I want. This guy.
He's a bit unrealised as the hand is holding a grip that you can plug weapons or a chain into. Or a carrot for self motivation

"The king was much taken aback and said that he pardoned him for speaking so haughtily for three reasons, first because he was young and inexperienced in affairs, next because he was the handsomest man of his time — and this was a fact — and chiefly because he was a Roman"

Once again, thank you so much everyone for your contributions. Every little truly does help and I'm sincerely grateful. Thank you. 🙏🥲💙
Some recent hens. They do look good together like this. 🐔

Friendly reminder that I have a Ko-fi by way of a tip jar, if you enjoy my work and would like to send a little material support. Thank you so much to everyone who contributes. ☺️🥲🙏💙

I went to sketch in a café this afternoon. The barista hit on me and a baby stared at me for a good 30 minutes. Successful trip all round

Also drew a Gorgon 🐍☕️
They are in a few locations, such as Aldi's, but that's exceptional. They're required to stand virtually everywhere else, including at the largest and most widespread chains in the country.

Original artwork available via everydayoriginal.com.

An older drawing from 2018 of Diplodocus.

I would do things differently now, both in terms of reconstruction and the way I draw, but I'm still fond of this one.

I often wonder if I could get away, professionally, with drawing digitally with my usual soft pencil instead of sharp inks.

Step 2 is fun, organic, free. Step 3 is mechanical, boring, just for "crispiness", relic of old print limitations.
I like how the cable on his lasgun draws to mind the match on a matchlock firearm
It turns out we should have been more worried about robots complying than rebelling.

It's a little low but I'll move it higher later
I was a farm worker for five years, a foreman for most of that. I actually could grow all of the food I'd personally need to survive. But if it got to that point, somebody who didn't have those skills would either kill or enslave me to get what I have. Not everyone can grow, not everywhere can grow.
