In the past 10 months I have not seen the judiciary do anything in response to obvious contempt. Contempt is like graffiti, if you don't get rid of it immediately you will get more of it.

I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

I'm wondering how they adjust to get to causation. Specifically, I wonder if women who are more likely to get Covid, unvaccinated, jobs forcing in person work, etc, are more likely to have children with these issues absent Covid during pregnancy.

When I hear people say they are pro tip I wonder if they worked a minimum or close to minimum wage before their current career. I did. I never got tipped. It's a low paying job. You do your best until you find something better. I provided excellent service without a tip and expect the same.

The #Nanotyrannus fossil was discovered in 2006. No one could study it until the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences bought it for $6 million in 2020. Does this support the case for private fossil hunters because they found it or hurt them because it delayed analysis by a decade and a half?

It's a pleasant surprise that Sonya Massey's killer was convicted. Second degree murder was the correct charge. America as a rule over punishes felons but murder convictions should always give the court discretion to impose a life sentence. www.bbc.com/news/article...

Where I've practiced criminal law it is common for every defendant with the audacity to ask for a trial to be put on two hour call 3 out of 5 weeks. Judges call 20 defendants in at a time. 19 go home to wait for another call which sometimes comes the same day. The order didn't seem harsh to me.
