An aggressive metal lead guitar patch for M8 Tracker. Wavsynth engine with a little PWM and a lot of chorus. Deep fried with a little POST:AD distortion. The trick here is to add a MULT LFO set to RANDOM with a frequency of one 16th note to create a guitar flatpicking sound in phrase. #m8tracker

It’s also possible to make PWM patches with the Macrosynth and the FMsynth on the M8 Tracker. Maybe I’ll post about this in the future.

My go to pulse width modulation lead patch in the M8 Tracker Wavsynth engine. It’s all about setting an LFO to WARP and the SIZE to maximum for the smoothest PWM. The secret sauce is setting an additional LFO to add some MULT as a little extra bite. From my tune, EMERGENCE (Ratz Mix). #m8tracker

Don’t sleep on the M8 Tracker’s Struck Drum synth, found in the Macrosynth synth engine. With settings like the ones below you can easily play smooth, eerie and nuanced melodies by drawing out the notes of the struck drum and making them sound more like a wind instrument then percussion. #m8tracker

Project files and tutorials are shared far and wide to help people learn how to make chiptune using predominately *free* tools made by revered members of our community. Turning your back to that and using AI is anti-social behavior.

There’s another animated kids show I saw called Jungle Junction. It’s about a group of animal/car and truck hybrid creatures that live in a jungle permeated by highways and other naturally occurring transportation infrastructure. The main character is an elephant van. Who comes up with this shit?

I saw a kids animated show called Dinosaur Train where the carnivores and herbivores are all good friends with each other. Instead of hunting other dinos, the carnivores stumble upon and gorge themselves on giant piles of meat left across the landscape for them presumably by Dinosaur God.

Running an old ambient weeklybeat of mine through the new reverb shimmer feature of the latest M8 Tracker firmware v6.2.0. It added a whole new layer to the various elements of the track including the pseudodelay. This new update is fantastic! #m8tracker #ambient #chiptune #chipsky

A while back I made this political lyrics video for my favorite ska punk song. Freeze Up by Operation Ivy was written and recorded in 1989 but has never been more relevant than today. I used modern imagery and video to show how prescient this song was for its time. #skapunk #punk #operationivy
