To avoid burying the lede, the show is going away for a good long while.

But we couldn't turn the lights off without hipping you to some remarkable albums we heard this year.

Take care out there. You deserve it.

This album gets a lot of flak for being a complete departure from its prog roots, but it’s undeniable. The only clunker is the instrumental last track. Love it.

'Celebrities', the latest from Milwaukee legends Collections of Colonies of Bees, flew under the radar this year, but is a dance-punk indie banger that contains multitudes.

Tune in to hear our thoughts on the album, and more. You deserve it.

Little Free Libraries are like private schools. Beloved by people who want to sidestep, opt out of, undermine or ignore actually public things while vigilantly policing who accesses their private, and substandard, replacements for them. Sorry.

Every Saturday I make a playlist of the Top 20 from that week in 1984.

This week Wham is still on top but Tina continues to ascend (again). No way to explain why Dennis DeYoung is still hanging around, but at least Pat Benatar's 'We Belong' has entered the chat.

Hard to believe that it has been 8 years since this little man stumbled into our lives on a chilly Halloween night in DC.
