I think I need a little breaky break from all the Taylor content. As much as I enjoy it, it’s A LOT and my brain can’t handle it this week. Friday will be 14 years since my mom died. Some years I barely even acknowledge it, but this year I’m feeling grumpy and sad. That’s all. 🤷🏻‍♀️

this made me realize just how SUBVERSIVE it is for Taylor to release a showgirl themed album during the height of her WAG era. showgirls have their own income. they are sexual, glamorous, and in the spotlight. these things are generally despised in conservative patriarchal circles.
