while I work on my dinosaur motif thread, I'm noticing that it tends to cluster with Rubik's cubes. at first I thought it was just because the dinosaurs are often toys. but it's coming up in other contexts too.

sometimes I think it would be helpful if I could hear Taylor's songs as love songs for couples again. now all I hear is a conversation between Taylor/NewRo and some future audience. I hear them reflecting on their past reality shaped by the Great War of the New Romantics. it's all I can hear now
