The wedding day approaches!

We've been pulling together all the wedding favours for our big summer party, and we know you're excited to see what's coming.

(For those guessing where @kairoskairo.bsky.social sent Dimilix, between superhell and Siberia—well, that's basically Ohio, isn't it!)

"Felix, really--" Looking around, Dimitri falters, his shoulders seeming to wilt at Felix's words. What would you do, Felix? "Surely you must agree that there is more than enough room here for the both of us." He watches Felix's jaw work, watches the way his throat moves as he swallows. As though he swallowed down any words he might have said under different circumstances. As though he had to, to stop himself. Would they have been kind or cruel?

Relaxed, and, for no reason Felix can see, even entertained. He points at Felix. Then at himself. Felix tracks the movement with an agitation that makes him want to snap his teeth. Dimitri puppets a flapping mouth with his hand. “This is ridiculous. Can you not use your words?” He points between them again, emphatically at Felix, then he puts a finger over his lips in a shushing motion. “Fucking hell, what are you—” Dimitri folds his hands in his lap and waits. Blue eye sparkling up at Felix. Slowly, Felix says, “I told you to shut up. At breakfast.” Dimitri nods, once. Smiling with everything but his mouth, which only makes things worse.

He made Dimitri watch as he used it on himself, putting a foot on Dimitri’s [REDACTED] when he tried to interfere. “Now who’s impatient?” Felix relished the dark look in Dimitri’s eye. “Gloating is unbecoming,” Dimitri lied. He clearly enjoyed this side of Felix. The challenge, the difficulty. They’d never be together if he didn’t.

But I still won.” He leans down, offering Dimitri the sword that tumbled out of his hand when he fell. “Come up?” “Mm-mm.” Dimitri reaches past the wooden training sword, snags his fingers around Felix’s wrist. His thumb feathers Felix’s pulse. “Lie down with me.” Felix immediately abandons both swords and drops to his knees beside Dimitri’s waist, pressing as close to him as either of their bodies allow.
