I'd like to know where the line is on the "using GenAI is bad even if it's for...".
Like, apparently it was okay that Arc Raiders used GenAI because their voice actors consented to it? okay, so uh... do we know that the model won't be used in another project? >.>; Or that they weren't Strongarmed?

So, did you see professional art/assets that looked AI but turned out not to be but was filled with all sorts of amateur mistakes?
You should be upset... cause that is often a product of crunch. Unrealistic deadlines that don't give people proper time to fix mistakes.

I feel we over romanticise the "pre social media internet" and those smaller tight knit communities.
It wasn't all sunshine and roses. If you were a newcomer many would pretty much ignore you if not flat out haze you. Douchebags were extremely prominent - and it was even harder to get rid of them.
