The volunteer pilots ✈️ at @elevatedaccess.bsky.social have flown almost *3,000* people for abortion and gender affirming care.
Now, we’re looking for a donation of a specific type of plane to fill in some gaps left by commercial planes and the private planes of our generous volunteer pilots.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week
Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.
The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.
People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

I joked that the Feds were about to go door to door to remove food from SNAP recipients’ pantries but they’re actually doing it. They’re telling states to give back the SNAP money or face illegal punishment. It’s how the mob functions.
NEW: The Trump admin told states it must immediately "undo" the work to provide full food stamp benefits, or face penalties. The feds sent this in a late-night memo, only adding to the chaos and confusion around SNAP. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...

Unrig the Game by @vanessapriyadaniel.bsky.social may be the most consequential book about nonprofits and I haven’t even read it yet. So many people telling me how accurately it describes past and current experiences of leaders of color, I have a copy but am hesitant to read about the shared trauma.

I love the screams *before* they even get to the wild end. What the hell happens in there?
I love that the Boston cop slide never got fixed and now people just willingly go down it in tribute. It’s basically a national landmark at this point

This reminds me: A few CBP agents were recently overheard complaining about how much they *hate* the whistles. Apparently, in addition to the obvious, the racket makes it harder for them to communicate with each other.
Listening to CPD radio traffic from something last month and can hear the whistles in the background.

Easily several hundred people have packed into this plaza in Chicago's North Center tonight in response to ICE abducting a daycare worker early this morning.
This is a neighborhood that has largely been spared until now from the "Midway Blitz" terror campaign. But everyone knows someone affected.

A daycare. Every day in Chicago. The state is not stopping this. Pritzker’s and Johnson’s cops have ONLY been protecting these assaults so there is so far nothing that is stopping them besides unarmed residents screaming. How many children are technically orphans now @govpritzker.illinois.gov?

The GOP will lose seats to thin district margins of their own making while blue states run their play and add numerous seats on top of that. Their electoral strategy is game the system but you just can’t run on ‘we love corrupt crypto pedophile protecting, trans hating, neighbor snatching nazis’!
