I can see where the card system shines and I would have loved to see it be more fleshed out and balanced than it actually it is but that's just not the case. I would love to see them take a crack at this kind of game again, honestly!

And Riku's story breaks the game even more with Duel mode. Once I realized how much I could manipulate boss AI, that was all I did to beat the final boss

I was able to beat the game on Proud Mode at level 35 on my first playthrough.

To elaborate more on the combat, I loved the first half of Sora's story where a lot of my time spent was experimenting deck building; trying out sleights and keeping up with the enemy power creep

But as soon as I unlocked Lethal Frame and Holy, those were ALL I used (minus against Marluxia)

Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories

I... enjoyed this more than I thought I would! The level design was very samey but this was a fun alternate take on the disney worlds from KH1. The story is a mindfuck but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And the card system is fun but a tad too easy to break for me.
