Even the most cautionary reporting on AI always takes the position that ‘obviously, AI has incredible benefits but we should be cautious of these dangerous aspects.’ They’re never specific about exactly what those benefits ARE right now. At best, we get speculative future prospects, if that. 🤖

There is for sure a marketing gap. It’s not that narrative games don’t sell, it’s that a lot of publishers aren’t set up to sell them. It’s a lot easier to blame the marketplace or devs for an issue than to give their marketing teams the resources they need to get it done.
