I don't understand parents who get twisted in knots over their kids hearing "bad" language. Like... They're just words. Talk to your kids, explain that some words are not for kids to use and that there are social consequences when kids use them. Help them understand when/ how they're appropriate.

Just read an article saying Australian researchers are saying parents should ask infants and toddlers for consent to change their diapers. I think I've entered my "back in my day" era.
I had too many fights over diaper changes with stubborn-ass toddlers to think that's a good idea.

Glyph update! Fortunately nothing is broken, he's just old. The pain is a mixture of joint mice and arthritis, and hopefully manageable with medication.
