Thinking about Gamespot’s review of the first person shooter Alien Resurrection for PS1, which they admonished for the bizarre (at the time) control scheme of “one stick moves your character, and the other looks around”

Do what I did: unfollow everyone, deleted all content on your profile (there are ways to automate this) and uninstall the app. This way you keep the username but there’s just nothing there.

The current generation of home consoles has been, by far, the most disappointing one I’ve lived through. And literally *nothing* about it will be fixed by newer, more expensive consoles.

Both Microsoft and Sony are kidding themselves if they think “new consoles in 2027” are a good idea.

My current camera (a ~15 year old Canon Rebel T3 that I inherited from my dad who wasn’t using it) is fine! But there’s definitely some debris on the sensor, and the screen doesn’t rotate (I take a lot of photos near the ground lol), and the screen doesn’t get very bright when I’m outdoors….

I’m really happy with how my toy photos have been turning out lately, but some sick part of my brain keeps telling me “yeah but just imagine how much better they’d look if you bought a new camera…”

I like the look of this! Doesn’t seem like the biggest budget game in the world, but I’m more than okay with more small-to-medium budget games existing.
