🌳 Native Pine Martens return to the UK for the first time in a century!

19 of the species (from the weasel family!) have been released in secret locations around Exmoor National Park in a pioneering nature recovery project. They’ll be tracked with radio collars that will fall off in 6-9 months.

Body plan of many a mustelid already fits well with the body plan of eastern dragons; I think a marbled polecat would be a very pretty base for a dragon. Or a water bases eastern dragon with otter characteristics. IT COULD BE GOOD

Wolverines really are the Most Weasel of the mustelid family. Everything turned up to 11: size, fluff, power, handsomeness, while retaining those core mustelid features. They are just v cool creatures.

Plus I forever love seeing them flopped on their backs.
