Husband starts his new job w/ NBC on Monday!!! First time not working from home in 5 years! Took us 4 months but now he’s got offers coming from everywhere - waiting on one that would be a dream job w/ dream pay still so- fingers still crossed for that one!

Today I had one of the admins “teach” one of my classes so I could get some final essays graded. The person that covered is our coach who is constantly doing PD on classroom Managment.
Not only did she have zero ability to control the class- a student yelled “s!eg he!l” and saluted 2 times*

P had a take home pre-calc test today on the last unit… and Monday is the comprehensive final. That’s 2 days to ask for help from the teacher or tutor about what’s on the test. I’m a prof at the same school… I’d never do that to students. It is so wrong. Most have full time jobs and family!

I’m having a nerve storm or something. It’s like red ants are stinging me all over my body… or I’ve been sunburned very bad but also have full body RLS. My HR is 180 BPM (not super atypical enough for the ER for me. My norm is 145 due to chronic illness/ pain) but god I’m in pain/ unable to settle.

I know not every TV critic is familiar with the trappings of the romance genre, but I’m tired of the implication that sex can’t be an important plot driver for individual and shared character development.

My son asked me to read a book with him so that he will not give up half way through… he feels if he has someone to talk to about it, he’ll finish it. He picked @brandonsanderson.com ‘s Mistborn. He says I have to read slow… I said I’d do anything to read with him. Talk about #ParentingWin #Reading

H’s unemployment runs out Jan 1st & he still hasn’t gotten a job; been in broadcast for 20 years - there is just NOTHING. I’m so scared we will lose our house- which we’ve nearly paid off. If anyone has any leads for computer/broadcast software jobs (He worked w/ Starz, ABC..) please share! #JobHunt
In 4 more weeks I start my testosterone journey and I cannot WAIT!!! Also finally getting meds to treat my super late-in-life diagnosis of ADHD. Hopefully the new year is a new me… literally. 50lb weight loss & controlled ADHD & finally finding a medication that is helping my heart= NEW ME!!!
