It really is isn't it? For me it's frustration + anger at how people are being treated: workers, seniors, people requiring health services, etc. All while the leader of Alberta and the federal opposition continue to pick at our democratic federation. It's freaking depressing! And I'm unapologetic.

Battle River - Crowfoot had a very strong conservative independent. I can't imagine a good reason for why they didn't send her to Ottawa. Poilievre is a flim-flam man who will always serve himself and no one else.

I'm glad he's speaking up. They need a CBC show called, "Straight Talk with Jean Chretien." I know the disinformation machine will stir up the Maple Magats, and they'll all be kicking their tiny little feet and balling up their tiny fists. But they already say the CBC is lies and bias, so who cares!

I wonder if that's the point? Poilievre is an oily little creep. He wants to wedge every crack he finds until he brings the nation down.
I certainly will be changing my vote if the NDP signs on to this. If they act in their own self interest, I don't want their input.

100%! Our mayor has let a data centre set up about a mile from where I live. He cites "job opportunities! yay!" But I wonder, maybe for construction, a one time job. But with AI replacing people, especially in tech. If the centre was for data sovereignty I'd be supportive, but I don't think it is.

Past 9 mos: None of my cosmetics, clothing, shoe purchases have been US. I love stationery, and only buy Asian, Euro + Canadian.
In the grocery store I try to keep it to one or two US products once in a while. Certain detergents, pet food, stuff like that. For foods, if it's US, I just go without.
