I'm all about celebrating good things these days so I have one more brag to post. We had our parent teacher conference today and they said our 3rd grader is currently reading at an 8th grade level and substantially outscored everyone else in her grade.

Yeah my wife and I both work long hours and raise our kid so sometimes it's a struggle to get the workout in. Putting together a half-assed home gym from used equipment has honestly been the best move. But we both are looking and feeling like our old selves a little more these days 🙂

I mentioned a few months ago that I stopped regularly weighing myself because changes in water weight etc sometimes can be discouraging. Instead I rearranged my closet by how well my shirts fit and gauged my progress by where I was on that lineup. It's a great system!

I've been taking GLP-1 meds for about 6 months now, but for 18 months I've been working out 4-6 times a week. As of today I'm down 50 lbs in that 18 months. I'm stronger than I've ever been, my BP is down, my wife says I don't snore anymore, and there exist clothes I think I actually look good in.
