i also wanted to add bc i forgot but, this line in The Fate of Ophelia is basically a direct quote from Hamlet.

Act 1 Scene 3 of Hamlet to be exact and it’s when Ophelia is addressing her brother Laertes. Which then adds to the whole fraternal souls and brother imagery Tay’s used across TLOAS.

We start with Cardigan. This is post Masters Heist and FCO. She finds herself exiled in a “cabin” where the only thing she has is her music but even that is not working because her key is broken, she’s doing everything she can to find the right key.

I'm ready to see her burn it all down, but I think the 16 months comment on the podcast is her timeline. This year is her honoring her career in her own words & power, ending the Era. Next year is the start of a life without constant reinvention and performative identities. Hang on a little longer.
