To have this paper appear the same day that RFK Jr is canceling all mRNA vaccine funding is further indication that irony is not dead, even though we might all be soon.

I really hate it when a vendor or sales rep asks to know my budget before giving us a quote.

My budget is as low as possible - haven’t you read anything about the NIH lately?

Now that my lab has moved to Emory I want you to join us in Atlanta. We have an NIH-funded postdoc position available to study Planar Cell Polarity (PCP) signaling using vestibular hair cells of the mouse as a model.
Please repost and/or DM for details

We have to do a better job writing the Project Narrative and Project Summary sections of our grants.

Now more than ever these need to be clear and compelling - and written for the general public.

I’m afraid these are the only sections RFK jr and friends might read when judging your worth. 😐

Our contribution to #FluorescenceFriday is a progress report. The scope made it to Emory and was reassembled with only one minor catastrophe. We’re calling it a win.

Frivolous sort-of-science question: What do you call male and female mice?

Bucks and Does?
Sires and Dams?
Johns and Janes?
