I don't start on any commissions unless payment is sent, but the clients took up 1-2 hours of my time just talking about the concept and details of the piece, and agreed to the pricing. So why not pay the invoice? Ughh.

I feel like I'm super flexible with payments and plans but, please please please do not take advantage of artist's kindness. If you can't pay for a commission, be upright with that fact; my prices are low to keep my art accessible to everyone!

See just how impactful and culturally significant The Beauty and the Beast was.
He wrote some wonderful songs for Aladdin, almost all of which were scrapped. It would've been a much different movie.

There's a wonderful documentary on Ashman on D+, honoring his legacy. I recommend it.

Howard Ashman was one of those musicians and artists that should still be alive. He made (with Alan Menken) some of the most iconic songs in all of Disney history... in just two movies, and wrote Little Shop of Horrors, one of the best cult musicals. He passed away way too young, before he could +

I don’t know why but now that midterms are over, I just got really tired and just apathetic about the rest of the fall semester? Might be some seasonal depression creeping in but I hate not feeling motivated to do the bare minimum without feeling like crap 🫩
