Nintendo bought the team in the early 90s to prevent the former owners from moving the team away from fans. It was the 1st time a foreign entity owned an MLB team. In 2016, Nintendo sold majority ownership, but maintains 10%. They had a special DS app for home games with trivia & stats.

Fun Fact: Nintendo's baseball team, the Seattle Mariners, is currently in the MLB playoffs. If they win the current series against Toronto, it will be the team's first-ever World Series appearance.

I was mostly poking fun at the current presidential administration, but sadly you are not wrong.

Many churches are, but to say they aren't "good people" on that alone isn't right either. They may not be the best by any means, but by no means the worst

Far better than violent cultists who actively protect pedophiles, think everyone outside their group must be executed with extreme prejudice, and would rather tell you to F off than help you buy a lifesaving medication your $3 short on.

I think the most disheartening is that Mormons get an unjust bad rep, and are one of the most giving churches. People joke about missionaries showing up, but if you ask them for help with almost anything, they will help. Can't get to the store? They'll go. Need lawn mowed? They'll mow it.
