Even before this we had a construction labor shortage. Estimates put around 25% of the construction industry is undocumented. And not only are they incredibly skilled but they often get fucked over by employers. I wrote about it earlier this year.

I can't even process this info today. I'll be one of the millions kicked off of SAVE. And if they get rid of PSLF like they want . . . I took loans with what I thought was assurance that if I worked in public service for a decade, they'd get forgiven, instead of going to a job with a private firm.
