Tonight my father-in-law asked me why comics used to sometimes be missing half the cover. I said they were probably being sent back from newsstands, prompting a story of how, in the mid-to-late 1940s, he and friends would find piles of comics like that in open boxcars and take them to read.

The build-up at the parade for K-Pop Demon Hunters can really only culminate in them tackling Tom Turkey and Santa, revealing them as demon imposters, and an epic, music-infused battle atop a float before rescuing the real deal.

Interesting how the BookFace, despite having a setting for "don't show me political material," still constantly shoves RW media, posts, articles in my feed. Clicking "I'm not interested" or "Block this profile" almost never works, instead offering just a "Sorry. Something went wrong" message.

I got brought back this afternoon only to learn they're basically prepping to fully dismantle our program and terminate all the contracts. Newly minted project manager with excellent communication & collaboration skills seeks help.
It's over for now but I can't log on until I get my Start Work Order. It took them 6 hours to send out the stop work orders so I will probably continue to not get paid today 🙃
