Tonight we watched Bachelor Mother (1939) with Ginger Rogers and David Niven. Only just learned of it and have to say, it’s great! Very funny. A pleasant surprise all around.

Had a children’s storytime at a public library today. The library was great, promoted it, etc. Today arrived and no one showed. A woman with a baby took pity and sat down for two stories until the baby cried and they had to go. But I can’t express how very grateful I am to her for that gesture.
