I’m sorry.
I felt a lot of emotions pouring out when I was reading your thread & felt compelled to share pains, not to try to take too much space. Because all you say is so familiar & close to home. It hurts.
But also weirdly comforting I’m not alone? We are not alone? There are many of us, damaged.

I called myself “a willing hermit” on therapist session. I think it’s true. I do not have energy to put up regular humanly acceptable appearance, it’s a whole ordeal to get out.
I just want to earn enough to live in my place with my dog and sometimes meet with family and friends, if they wish so..

Had a childhood dream I worked all my life to get on.
For few years that was true, despite years of not properly treated depression.
Then war came. Lost every bit of stability, gained even more anxiety & fear for future which seems unattainable. Still stumbling to earn back crumbles of what’s lost.

As I’m willingly childless, I cannot get a hysterectomy. Only way would be to actually let my endo to ruin all the progress I had at keeping it at bay and let it burst into my organs so I would be considered endangered enough to warrant an operation. Maybe.
I dream about making my living as artist.

I felt that.
I’m not considered disabled in my country. I need to take medication each day so my endo won’t burst into my organs & my life-long allergy won’t chain me to bed. That aside 2 AD medications.
I’m also often too tired to have consistent sleep/work schedule so I’m at mercy of freelance.

Based on your feedback, Damage Attenuation is changing in our Hotfix later today.

Damage Attenuation has been removed from regular objective enemies and is now solely reserved for bosses & enemies with HUD health bars.

Like i stress myself out, twist myself up in knots thinking "what if someone gets this thing and feels like I wasted their time??" I cant stand it. I try to let it go and just create.

As also CSA victim, agree on all parts. I avoid discourse whatsoever bc it leads to gross generalization of entire problem/blaming of marginalized communities for not adhering to arbitral norms of (quite twisted) morality.
(Witnessed rampant real ppl shipping in 00s. Wild times, at least it fades)

Sorry, it's kinda a painful topic (as for many fans of original who didn't ask sequel but wanted original's resurge & maybe new merch)
I'm glad u rediscovered E7 for yourself though! Its legacy needs to be carried.
I'm just not sharing any enthusiasm abt Ao or movies (w exception of Pocket Rainbow).
