I didn't intend to rewatch Frieren as I decided to read the manga to refresh myself before season 2... but I stuck an episode on while I was at the gym and DAMN I love this anime so fucking much.

I've spent the weekend focusing more on hobbies I didn't get as much time for in 2025 - reading, gaming & working out.
Had a killer workout on Sat & since yesterday I've read about 70 pages of Frankenstein putting me on course to finish it soon. Progressed a lot of Legends ZA!

I hoped we might get a Dragon Ball movie, but at the same time I'm perfectly happy with what we did get. I would just love it if Dragon Ball was able to aim for hitting the big budget, spectacle heights that movies like Demon Slayer and even Chainsaw Man recently, are hitting.

I'm not too interested in MMORPGs, if that's what the Dragon Ball game is, but I'll follow its development and check it out eventually if it looks good!

I had hoped we would get a continuation of Dragon Ball Daima but that's just me, and I liked the announcement of the return of Dragon Ball Super too! It does no harm to make the Beerus and Golden Freeza arcs look a little better after all this too!

My opinion as a Dragon Ball fan of 25+ years is that a lot of fans are going to have to re-evaluate their attachment to canon as the franchise proceeds. When the Super manga continues we need to acknowledge it is its own thing. If you like it, it's canon. If you don't, it's not.

My university assignment was really tough but I got through it! I'm going to apply for a new job next week - that's gonna be tough but I'll get through it and if I get it, GREAT. If I don't, I'll learn for next time!

A few weeks ago I got the motivation to get back into the gym in a big way, tracking progress properly and bringing planning into my workouts which I didn't do much of before. It's only been 3 weeks but I can see definite progress in some of the other photos I have taken!

I hope that Pokémon don't go the Yu-gi-oh route and reboot it again after Pokémon Horizons finishes airing this year. They have finally figured it out - they can roam around the whole world accessing old regions and characters - therefore they can travel to new regions. A cyclical 3 year cast is bad

Feeling kind of down and dealing with a bit of existential dread at the moment. I feel like for the last while I've been in survival mode and just taking things day by day but now I realise I haven't really been focusing on big decisions or thinking about the big picture and it's gotten me down.

Posting for posterity. First workout of the new year although I got back into the swing of things a few weeks back. I'm planning on putting a more concerted effort on my diet and levelling up workouts this year. Hopefully I can look back on progress pics and see a difference.

I've made it to the Stranger Things finale. I started the show on 27 November. Unlike the longtime fans I ended up watching about 9 years in just over a month. It's been a journey with ups and downs but I can say that I have enjoyed following along with this show.

Disappointing that Digimon Beatbreak's dub is region locked. Suggestions that BBC have it and are holding off until Ghost Game's release dies down.

One Piece is an amazing anime but I totally get why people are intimidated by the episode count. You could wait for WIT Studio's remake, OR, they have started added the early episodes to Netflix in batches in UK/EU territories each month so you could take this opportunity to slowly watch through!
