I respect your work, Sirk, but soccer =×= other sports. Soccer has been developed by the world for 160 years. Why should we change it to make it more like baseball? I'm watching this. If I want to watch baseball, I'll watch baseball. This is a terrible take.

Under this current format, FCC could've just packed it in and not given a crap and lost 10-0, but still go through with two 1-0 wins. I think the entire series should matter, not just the bits that work for you and why even play this half? Who cares?

I know that the regular season is over but can we just acknowledge that the way this league disregards goal difference is kind of dumb? The league table's first tie breaker should be GD, not wins, and a playoff series should home and away with goal difference being the main factor.

I Halloween'd in shorts here in Ohio just fine. That's just the mail carrier in me though. I work 5-8 hours a day outside in whatever weather it is. 104? -30? Heat advisory? Snow emergency? Tornado warning? Doesn't matter. I've worked in it.

You really need to understand how much of a miracle that really was, because both teams have bad bullpens, with the Dodgers 1 being particularly bad. How they pitched so many strong innings I'll never know.

I think we really need to ask the question of how the Dodgers spent $350 million in payroll and ended up with great hitting, starting pitching, and defense, and also what very well may be the worst bullpen in baseball. #worldseries
