The For Beginners series was usually excellent, but I expect this is why they changed it to the Introducing... series. (I had The Holocaust For Beginners.)
I just would not title a book this.

Okay, but also, this is not that unreasonable?

The story of the last 15 years is a government pursuing a superficially popular but practically very damaging effort to shrink the state, followed by a series of government's failing to restore the public sector.
The fact that every single PM this century has been more unpopular than the previous one shows that the electorate is impossible to please. We are simply predisposed to automatically hate every government no matter what. I don't know how that's sustainable long-term.

An actively and aggressively malicious man
Tony Smith on Ch4News saying international students should be limited because they’re “economically inactive”.

International students pay around £27k p.a. in fees to their universities, at least half again to landlords and they spend their parents’ hard-earned money in local shops.

Well Budapest is a good place for a stag do, or a solo city break in Toby's case.
Toby Young, self-appointed king of free speech, is speaking in Hungary tomorrow about UK “censorship”.

He’ll be addressing a group funded by Viktor Orbán’s autocratic regime, which has seized control of the country’s media, judiciary, and routinely harasses its critics

this is bloody incredible writing.
They called them Near Abroad Direct Action Operations, NADA Ops. The "joke" in the CalSec cafeterias, which made its way out later in the hearings was that "What does the operator say when asked if there are civilians in the area? Nada...oops!". Even decades later, Arizona didn't find it funny.
