Expensing business travel in the 21st century is such an antiquated process. You paid with a corp card, we have all the data already, most of it came in via integrated corporate accounts we have with the hotel, airline, Uber, etc. but we still need you to manually upload copies of everything

FSAs should never be forfeited. They should always either roll over or be paid back out to you with taxes withheld. That "use it or lose it" is the law is flagrantly and embarrassingly anti-employee.

So much life advice comes down to people advocating for taking big risks, and I wonder how much survivor bias plays into that

In uni I was in a course where we had to review each other’s essays, and I remember being SO MAD when my randomly assigned partner clearly plagiarized his. I refused to grade it, wrote on it my job was to review his work and not Google’s. So no, I don’t think I’d do well in the era of ChatGPT.

As much as I loved Better Call Saul, it beggars belief that Gus Fring was able to build a secret tunnel connecting two houses across a suburban, non-dead end street, for any amount of drug money
