I just meant judging him in their absence rather than them returning fixing everything. He's got newbies, kids and Richy up top. Doesn't mean he shouldn't be making better choices in midfield but I don't want to be over critical at this stage.

Nah fiercely struck and major dip. The issue was Palhinha and Bentancur not getting to him quicker. Shame for Xavi he got done there as, up until that point, his defensive work had been great

Villa hosted Newcastle 4 times in the 80s. Jenrick would've been 7 when the decade ended. To be kind I'll assume he didn't get to the 1984 game when he was 2 years old so he's claiming to have been when he was 3, 4 and 7. Must've been quite the keen away fan.
