Had to fire the Ms. Rachel bullet faster than we wanted to, but we survived the seven-hour car trip with our 17-month-old. Possibly related - the kiddo is really really good at animal sounds. And though we’re missing the O in Old MacDonald, he’s got E-I-E-I down cold

The primary qualification to manage the Rockies right now is essentially the same as the primary qualification to clean septic tanks for a living. And if Schaeffer’s the most willing to deal with all the shit, then, you know what, fine

It is 100% the Arenado trade because there was no recovering the illusion of competence for the franchise. You could no longer believe that they were capable of doing the right thing, or be clear that they even wanted to. And when you take that from your fans you damage that relationship forever.
An interesting question asked was "What was the worst move in Rockies history?"

The answer is the Nolan Arenado trade, but technically, the real answer is the Daniel Murphy signing.

But I say the Arenado trade cause it was the nail that cemented the worst era in Rockies history.

Maybe Hunt’s fumble WAS the reboot? That fourth Q and OT might have been the best football they played all season.
The thousand-yard stare on Kelce’s face after they went down 14-3 today… they know it, too. They need a full recharge and reboot.

Romo drawing that first down line just now was an all-timer. He’s never beating the allegations

It’s over for the Chiefs. They look… well, take your pick, but the words I keep coming back to are ‘obsolete’ and ‘worn out’.

The refs really are the story of that K-State loss, but also they handled the endgame so poorly - just a nonsense set of play-calls on their drive up by three, and then they should have let Utah score on the first play after the long run and held on to their timeout.
November 23, 2025 at 1:02 AM
The only reasons K-State is down four right now are because an INT return on a two-point conversion stood because a flag was picked up for no reason, and then the officials handled a substitution wrong on what would have been a game-sealing 4th down stop for K-State and flagged them for 12 men

Utah’s best play on run defense today is a totally bogus holding call taking away a 73-yard touchdown run

Joe Jackson is the best running back in America?

Ryan Davis just did the dumbest, dirtiest thing I have seen a player do all year in college football. Just brainless

Congrats to the Wallies, and a tip - you can put the trophy in the same case where they used to keep the Monon Bell, because you don’t win that anymore.

Wabash has won the ForeverLawn Bowl! 32-31 on a last second touchdown and two point conversion!

To be fair, though, he is also an enormous dork
Two complete loser FGs this half by Eli Drinkwitz, who has never won a big game

KU ain’t beating Utah next week so they are en route to missing a bowl for a second straight season barring a comeback in Ames today. As many good things are happening off the field for that program, they have absolutely plateaued on the field, and the early outlook for next year isn’t bright either

Great road win without CB and mostly without AG (who they really need in this matchup in particular, and who really needs to get all the way healthy)
