I keep having fantasies of ditching my Duo Lingo streak.

Leaving it behind and moving on with my life.

I need to be more brave, and let it go.

Has anyone been in this position -- built up a big Duo Lingo streak then allowed themselves to let it end?

I know I can do this.
My favourite Diane Keaton film is 'Manhattan Murder Mystery.'

It feels like the 'Annie Hall' characters but now they're middle aged and they think their neighbour is a murderer.

Hilarious, and Woody Allen has the wisdom to write Keaton's character as the protagonist.
Is any podcast genuinely lighting you up right now?

Feel kind of over everything I listen to.
'The Studio' on Apple TV is some of the best comedy I've seen in years.

Episodes 2 and 6 are pure perfection. So rare to see comedy so well crafted. Incredible writing!

Always liked Seth Rogen but this show is taking my appreciation to a whole new level.
Having a Duo Lingo streak with multiple streak freezes is like Trigger having the same broom handle but with 17 new heads and 14 new handles.
Unpopular Opinion: All Unpopular Opinions on social media are deeply obvious takes that nearly all people agree with.
Got a few short films coming up and will be keeping an eye on this!

Is Ange not good enough for the Premier League...

Or....

Do Spurs belong in the Australian A-League?
10. Always leave us wanting more.
9. Don’t repeat scenes you’ve already shown us.

Say you have only two scenes. After we watch both we think “She was great.”

But if you return to show more of the same scene later on, we swiftly think “is this the only material she’s got?”
8. If you decide to watch a Drew Barrymore rom-com, but just as you hit play you notice the running time is 2 hours 42 minutes, you’ll be filled with dread.

This is how casting directors feel when they see your reel is 5 mins 48 seconds.
7. Five bad scenes don’t make a good reel. Less is always more. Only use your strongest material, ditch the rest.
6. If you have one line in a movie, use that one line, or cut it from your reel entirely.

Trying to slice in random reaction shots from earlier in the scene when you were in the background fools nobody. Have confidence in what you have & don’t try to make it bigger than it is.
5. If a scene is out of sync, or jittery; or indeed if any bizarre technical mishap is happening, you need to ditch the scene. Why? Because it looks unprofessional.

Sure, you know your acting was great, but it looks like you don’t know your own footage is bad.
