Paul Seixas has been touring the media in France and giving answers more like he’s 29 rather than 19. Speaking to L’Equipe he says the plan is to ride a grand tour next year but he and the team are not decided where yet (team boss said last summer he wants him to do Tour but things sound more open)

Perhaps with shorter and shorter stages now in the Grand Tours, we could see something akin to Higuita, Carapaz and Plapp's attack at the 2022 Catalunya for the Colombian to steal GC from Almeida. There was a flash of it in the 2022 Tour on stage 14, when Jonas launched during break formation.

Conor Dunne made a good point on the GCN Racing News Show. Pogacar is emulating what Merckx did with his super long range attacks to avoid being ganged up on. We're not too used to seeing that in the modern era.

It's the opposite. It's really hard, that's why no one else stands a chance.

Pogacar quote to siol.net. "Even if it looks easy on TV, it really isn't. Being at the top of your sport is never easy. I think every athlete knows how much sacrifice and hard work goes in".

- crazy classics team with Wellens, Vermeersch, Narvaez, Politt
- great young talent in Ramirez, Torres, Christen, Morgado, Pericas
- VERY strong climbing support
