One Battle After Another is a perfectly fine film.
But it really does baffle me that it has become the biggest awards contender and is considered film of the year by many of the big cultural publications.
If anyone else had directed it, I can't see it being part of the conversation.

WB, in terms of films, makes too much money, they've had an insanely good year at the box office. Netflix won't throw away billions of dollars. It's not good business.

I've kinda given up on comics in recent years. It's been impossible to keep up so I just stopped pretty much, huge gaps between trades has killed many for me.
But the Absolute range has been fantastic so far and I cannot wait to start this.

I imagine being an actor requires you to have pretty thick skin and you can usually ignore stuff like this, but it can't be nice for Dano to hear something like this from someone as respected as Tarantino.
